According to President Jack Adler, Loews Hotels plans to expand its collection of 17 properties with 15 new hotels over the next five years. Cities on the company's radar include San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Seattle, Las Vegas, Toronto and Vancouver. Loews also is looking at expanding in the resort market and currently has a 400-room property under development in Lake Las Vegas, slated to open in 2009. New programs are also being rolled out, including an enhanced arrival experience with refreshments, an efficient check-in and staff members on hand to assist with dining reservations or airport transfers. Loews will also introduce a new Breakfast at Loews program with such items as a juice bar and a to-go cup of coffee upon check out.
