It was announced last week that the 727-room Marco Island Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa is in the home stretch of a three-year, $187 million renovation, the largest capital investment of any Marriott property. Highlights of the project include the construction of a 24,000-square foot spa, a reconstruction of a swimming pool complex, and a redesign of the property's existing 18-hole golf course.
