Luxury Resort in The Bahamas Debuts Eight New Beach Bungalows

Clustered along a secluded expanse of The Bahamas’ north coast, Kamalame Cay’s eight new, one-bedroom bungalows are ideal for groups of couples traveling together, family reunion trips, girlfriend getaways and small wedding parties.

The bungalows are utterly private yet in close proximity to one another. They offer 660 square feet of indoor/outdoor space and lofty, 16-foot ceilings capped with cedar shingle roofs. The shoreline studios are fronted by private verandahs steps from white sand beaches and are elevated to provide sunrise and sunset views.

Designed with a tranquil coastal palette of whitewashed wood, breezy linen curtains, and natural accents like sea grass rugs, the bungalows have king-size beds with Simmons Beautyrest mattresses and design accents from Ralph Lauren, Eli Tahari, Restoration Hardware and Anthropologie.

The suites also incorporate accent furniture from Nadeau and custom ceramic sconces by Donna Lee Crawford. The interior layouts include a wet bar and seating area, while private outdoor showers with Molton Brown bath amenities allow guests to bathe in nature while enjoying full ocean vistas.

The bungalows are tech-free, with no television or Wi-Fi for guests. Wi-Fi is, however, available in the lounge at Pineapple House on the island for those who must get online.
