New York's Plaza Hotel Closes Palm Court

Elad Properties has closed Palm Court at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. The dining establishment, which is located in the center of the lobby level and reopened nearly a year ago, has closed due to underperformance. Palm Court stopped dinner service this past August.

Joey Allahan, who runs the Oak Room and Oak Bar at The Plaza, has shown interest in adding the Palm Court to his menu and is in talks with Elad to take over Palm Court.

The Oak Room has taken over serving breakfast and patrons can still dine in the Champagne Bar and Rose Club. According to The Plaza’s website, The Palm Court will re-launch sometime this year.
