Scott Blakeslee has been appointed to the new position of overseeing the Palms Place Hotel as vice president and assistant manager. Blakeslee will manage the sales and marketing for the property’s major market segments and direct all operations for the hotel and spa for the new addition to the Palms Hotel and Casino.

The hotel is a multi-million dollar, 47-story luxury tower including Drift, a two-story spa enclave that boasts Las Vegas’ first hammam, a co-ed sanctuary recalling the ancient traditions of a Turkish bath; modern American cuisine at celebrity chef Kerry Simon’s flagship restaurant, Simon at Palms Place; Primp Salon operated by renowned color specialist Michael Boychuck; the intimate lobby bar, Rojo Lounge; 24-hour room service, resort concierge service, a business center and the only Las Vegas location of L.A.’s famed Sunset Tan.
