Rosewood Mandarina in Riviera Nayarit to Open in 2019

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has announced the company's newest hotel, Rosewood Mandarina, will open in 2019 on the Pacific coast of Mexico in Riviera Nayarit.

Just 30 minutes’ drive from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, the resort will have 130 guest rooms, suites, and villas with views of the mountains, beach, and ocean. Guests will be able to choose from three restaurants and bars, including a specialty restaurant, sunset bar, a pool grill, and beach bar. The resort will also have three pools, a fitness center and spa with 10 treatment rooms, and event space.

The beachfront property will draw inspiration from the local Huichole and Cora cultures, as well as the element of water.

Outside of the resort, Riviera Nayarit provides travelers with three diverse environments: 200 miles of beach, the lowlands, and the highlands, which have their own combinations of rivers, lagoons, and volcanoes. Adventurers are encouraged to fish in the lagoons or off the coast, learn of the agricultural foundation of the region, or take a scenic hike up the mountainside.

Rosewood Mandarina joins the existing Rosewood properties in Mexico and Central America: Rosewood Mayakoba, Rosewood San Miguel de Allende, Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort, and Rosewood Puebla, which is slated to open in 2017.
