Starwood will announce on Tuesday that it has a new property, Le Meridien San Francisco, formerly the Park Hyatt. According to Michael Wale, Starwood Senior Vice President, Le Meridien and Regional Director of Operations, Northwest Europe, this acquisition is representative of the growth likely to be seen in North America, India and Asia, "key target areas" now not strongly represented in Le Meridien's portfolio.
