Sheraton Hotels & Resorts announced that the $20 million renovation of Sheraton Steamboat Resort, located in Steamboat Springs, CO, has been completed and that the resort is now open to skiers for the 2008-2009 season. The property-wide transformation of the full service ski-in/ski-out resort features newly designed guest rooms, lobby, public and meeting spaces, as well as a new health and fitness program and menu for its signature restaurant.

Coinciding with the multi-million dollar resort renovation is the first phase of the new Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas. Twenty-one new two- and three-bedroom luxury vacation villas, developed and managed by Starwood Vacation Ownership, Inc., will be available for purchase or rental. Upon completion, the Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas will include 45 luxury villas.

Sheraton Steamboat Resort’s renovation includes a comprehensive re-design of each guest room, from the bed and bathroom, to furniture and entertainment. Renovated bathrooms now feature a freestanding wood vanity with cream-colored stone top, softer side lighting and “Shine by Bliss,” a new bath amenities line created exclusively for Sheraton by Bliss. In addition to the new design, each room has been upgraded with a new LCD flat panel TV.

Sheraton Steamboat Resort’s lobby will  be redesigned as well and will include the Link@Sheraton SM.
