Turtle Beach in Barbados to Offer Free Golf to Guests

Starting October 1, Turtle Beach Resort in Barbados will offer complimentary rounds of golf for its guests.

The 161-room, all-inclusive resort – part of Elegant Hotels Group, the largest hotel owner in Barbados – is already known for offering authentic Bajan activities, including beach cricket, dialect lessons and pastry classes.

Starting this fall, however, the all-suite resort will offer daily access to the Barbados Golf Club, which features an 18-hole championship course.

The new golf activities are included in the all-inclusive room rate and cover transfers to and from Turtle Beach, club rentals and one round of golf each day for the duration of guests’ stay (excluding arrival/departure days, weekends and holidays).

Located on Barbados’ south coast in the charming parish of Christ Church, Barbados Golf Club is a premier course within a 15-minute drive of the resort.

Designed for golfers of all skill levels, this 6,805-yard, par-72, 18-hole golf course is the work of notable golf architect, Ron Kirby.

In 2003, Barbados Golf Club hosted a PGA Seniors Tournament and has since welcomed several Barbados Opens. The championship course offers several challenges for golfers, including strategic tree placement, sand traps and lakefront greens.

In conjunction with the new partnership, Turtle Beach guests will have access to a selection of first-class facilities, from the newly constructed driving range, to the charming terraced clubhouse complete with a Pro Shop and “Nineteen on the Green” bar and bistro.

And this isn’t the first time Elegant Hotels Group has offered premier inclusions for its guests as Turtle Beach’s sister property, Waves Hotel & Spa, includes spa treatments in its all-inclusive rate.
