Greaves Tours Offers New Indian Packages

June 22, 2009 By: Megan Stride Travel Agent

Experienced travelers can now take advantage of Indian tours tailored just for them. Greaves Tours LLC has introduced two new programs designed for people who have already visited India and are back for more.

The first package, called Wings Over Rajasthan, is a seven-day trip to Delhi, Ajabgarh and Ranthambore National Park. Guests travel on a private plane and stay at Aman Resorts. Priced from $7,710 per person, based on four people traveling together and staying in two rooms throughout, the Wings Over Rajasthan program includes tours of the historic monuments of Old Delhi and the wide streets of New Delhi, plus a short cycle rickshaw ride. Travelers are invited to take an early morning jaunt by jeep to the uninhabited city of Bhangarh for yoga and an afternoon tour. Game viewings in Ranthambore National Park will be available over a period of two days, and travel between major cities will be made by a Super King Air B200 private plane, which seats six passengers.

For those who'd like a longer stay, the new Diamonds & Dynasties of Southern India package offers a 14-day journey starting in Hyderabad and moving through Gulbarga, Bijapur, Badami, Hospet and Gokarna. Priced from $3,276 per person, based on double occupancy, the trip features a tour of the city of Hyderabad and an excursion to that city's 13th-century Golconda Fort. Guests will also be able to relax in the town of Gokarna, well-known for its beaches, yoga treatment and Ayurveda therapies.

Package price include all entrance fees at monuments, as well as taxes and daily breakfasts, but exclude the Indian visa fee and other meals. Single traveler prices are available upon request.
