Reps From India's Leela Palace & Resorts Discuss Future Developments

Travel Agent recently met with representatives of Leela Palace & Resorts in India to discuss future developments, including a five-star deluxe hotel in Delhi; a palace in Udaipur; a palace in Chennai, a palace in Hyderabad and another in Pune. The Delhi property is expected to near completion by this fall. The Udaipur property, which will include 80 deluxe rooms, junior suites and royal suites, is scheduled to open in early 2008. The Leela Palace Kempinski, Chennai is slated to open in 2009 and will be a 15-story hotel with 306 rooms and suites. The Hyderabad property will be a 236-room hotel to open by 2009 while the Pune palace is slated to open in 2009 as well.
