Indonesian volcano Mount Sinabung, once dormant for over 400 years, erupted Sunday, August 29 and again Monday, August 30, displacing over 30,000 and killing two, CNN reports.
Smoke was sent over three miles into the air and tremors shot into nearby villages. As of now small domestic flights have been deferred, but larger planes have not been affected, Bambang Ervan of Indonesia's Ministry of Transportation tells CNN.
According to the report, the deaths were caused by heart attack and respiratory complication. The country's National Disaster Coordination Agency has sent food and gas masks for the displaced people.
