ARC Forms VTC Advisory Board

As forecast, ARC has announced the formation of a new VTC (Verified Travel Consultant) Advisory Board, comprised of industry leaders and pioneering VTC participants. The Advisory Board will lend their collective experience and expertise to help guide ARC on the direction, strategy, and future of the steadily growing ARC VTC program. Launched two years ago, the VTC Program now accounts for more than 800 travel agent participants with about a dozen new applications being received every week.

“We’re very excited to have hosted our first VTC Advisory Board meeting in Las Vegas,” said VTC Program Manager Christopher Flores. “The program has succeeded very well over the past two years with 800+ participants utilizing our products and services. With this core group of respected and committed travel professionals we can expect to see even greater things from ARC and the VTC Program in the future.”

VTCs are travel agent professionals reflective of a strong and growing segment of the industry. The majority have more than 11 years of industry experience and report annual sales of $400,000 on average. The seven member VTC Advisory Board  includes: Chris Russo, president and chairman, ASTA and owner of Travel Partners, in Colorado; Cynthia Perry, VP of sales and industry relations, Travel Insured International in Texas; Joanie Ogg, principal of Joanie Ogg Marketing Group, in California; Gail Marchand, owner or Marchand Travel in South Dakota; Jack Kurdian, owner of Linas World Travel in California; Jennifer Kruse, owner of Journeys Travel in New York; and Christopher Flores.
