The Collette Foundation hosted a concert Dec. 13 at the Met at Hope Village, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The benefit concert featured Collette Vacations’ employee band, The Closers, and included a silent auction of sports memorabilia.

The celebration was meant to celebrate a year of success for The Collette Foundation, the employee-run, global initiative connecting Collette employees, its vendors and travelers with partner communities worldwide. The mission of the Foundation, now entering its fourth year, is to help improve the quality of life of children in countries that Collette visits such as Cambodia, Kenya, Costa Rica, and the United States.

The Collette Foundation was recognized in November by the World Travel Market (WTM) for its work around the world to help children in communities where its parent company, Collette Vacations, operates.

On a local level, the Foundation supports a program for children of incarcerated parents in Rhode Island to try to stop the intergenerational cycle of poverty, crime and addiction.
