Registration is now open for Avoya Travel’s 2016 Annual Conference, to be held May 2-6 at Club Med Sandpiper Bay. The program will focus on innovation, delivering the best experiences to customers and building on the record sales of independent agencies, and it will also offer events such as the Chairman’s Gala and new social and learning forums.
Tzell Travel Group has launched a new Agent Showcase feature on its website, which is aimed at connecting talented travel agents with prospective clients. The Showcase spotlights agents who have been routinely honored for their expertise and insight, and includes online biographies with an agent’s responses to actual questions posed. Agent Showcase also provides clients with direct access to each travel agent via e-mail and phone.
Vacation.com has announced that more than 270 new travel agencies have recently joined the organization, including more than 200 in the U.S. and close to 70 in Canada.
Fathom, the new social impact travel brand from Carnival Corp., has reached an agreement to become a preferred supplier with Signature Travel Network, enabling it to market through Signature’s cooperative travel network of 205 members across 442 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
