Scenic Tours, which leads all-inclusive cruise tours of Europe, has hired Derek Legault as its new senior director of sales. He will lead sales efforts for both Scenic Tours and its sister company, Emerald Waterways, which runs luxury river cruises.
Legault has worked with several travel companies over his 23-year career. He was most recently the national sales and marketing manager for OTI.
“I look forward to putting my 23 years of sales and marketing experience to use with Scenic and Emerald and help build a top sales and groups department,” said Legault. “I believe the best way of achieving these goals is by developing new strategies and new benefits for the agent community. They are our partners and I look forward to their input and help.”
