Aer Lingus Boosts New York / Shannon Service

Good news for Ireland-bound travelers: In March, Aer Lingus will add a sixth weekly flight between Shannon Airport and New York's JFK, according to Breaking Travel News.

The Irish flag-carrier had already planned to increase its service from three direct flights per week to five between the two hubs, but has now announced an additional sixth service.

Outward flight EI111 leaves Shannon at 12:20 p.m. and lands at JFK at 2:40 p.m. local time.

The return flight, EI110, departs New York at 6:20 p.m. and arrives at Shannon at 6:00 a.m. the following day.
