Trafalgar Adds Irish Farm Visits to "Be My Guest" Itineraries

Trafalgar has added more "Be My Guest" experiences to its 2012 Europe and Britain Brochure. Be My Guest allows visitors to share a home cooked meal with a native of that country or meet local artisans.

On Trafalgar’s trip to Killarney, Ireland, travelers will visit Muckross Traditional Farms, and work the farm with traditional methods. Visitors will also see how to make butter and end the tour with a buttermilk tasting.  Later travelers will eat traditional Irish fare of kerry lamb stew with boiled potatoes and fresh farm bread. The meal is topped off with Irish coffee and homemade bread and butter pudding.

The Muckross Traditional Farms Be My Guest dinner can be booked for one of four Trafalgar guided vacations: 8-day Irish Highlights (from $1,725), 11-day Best of Ireland (from $2,299), 12-day Irish Experience (from $2,525), and 16-day Best of Ireland & Scotland (from $3,299).

Travelers who book and pay in full before December 1, for travel between April 1 and October 31, will save $1,000 per couple.
