The Israel Ministry of Tourism has officially launched the new Israel Virtual Tourist Office.
The new online resource offers information on accommodations, transportation and festivals and events in Israel. It is designed to be of use to travelers both before and during their trip, the Israel Ministry of Tourism said.
The platform also offers traveler support through email, Facebook and WhatsApp. Channels are currently available in English, with plans to also offer service in Russian, Spanish and French.
A self-service website with message and video chat capabilities will be available soon, as well.
