February 13, 2009 By: George Dooley

Central Holidays has unveiled a new line-up of budget-priced Escorted Tour itineraries, Glimpse of Sicily, that enables travelers to delve into the intriguing island of Sicily with lots of value-added inclusions, and all at a price to suit today’s travel budgets. This trip showcases Sicily on a 10-day adventure, featuring stays in Palermo, Marsala, Catania, Syracuse, and Taormina with rates starting from just $1471.

“On the heels of our just released Treasures of Italy Tour, we are pleased to bring agents and their clients another economically-priced and value-focused program created with feedback from travelers that includes Central Holidays’ signature service offerings – like our exclusive Dining Plan – and offers enough time for exploring Sicily on one’s own,” said Fred Berardo, president and CEO of Central Holidays.

Priced from $1,471 per person, the 10-day/eigh-night Glimpse of Sicily (Land Only) includes first class hotel accommodations; 16 included meals consisting of: eight buffet breakfasts and six dinners at hotel restaurants, plus one dinner at a popular local restaurant (including wine, mineral water and cappuccino or coffee) and one lunch at an authentic farmhouse in Mt. Etna; professional tour director throughout the program; sightseeing per the day-by-day itinerary including local guide and more.

Prices listed are per person, land only, based on double occupancy.  Special pricing on air travel and extra nights are available upon request.
