Recently Rail Europe launched ticket sales on a new direct route between Marseille and Milan.

Through the new route, passengers can travel between France and Italy without having to change trains at the border, making for an easier and more comfortable journey between these two popular Mediterranean destinations.

With many travelers heading to Milan this spring for the Milan World Expo, this direct route will provide a more seamless travel experience for guests headed to the Italian and French Rivera. Passengers can travel the full route between Milan and Marseilles or board the train at numerous seaside destinations along the way, including:

- Marseilles, Toulon, Cannes, Nice or Monaco en route to Milan
- Milan, Genoa or Savona en route to France

Through Milan and Marseille, guests can also connect to other European destinations. From Marseille, passengers can reach Paris in only three hours or continue along the Mediterranean Sea towards Spain. Milan is a gateway city to the French Alps, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia. A wide range of rail passes, high speed train tickets, local and regional train tickets and e-ticket options are available to take travelers wherever they choose to roam.

Bookings can be made by visiting Rail Europe's website at raileurope.com or by calling Rail Europe's contact center.
