What to do When in Rome

The recent release of the new romantic comedy When in Rome may well inspire your clients to hit the ancient city to see the uber-romantic sights for themselves! Here's a quick crash course on what to see and where to stay in the Eternal City.

A new Courtyard by Marriott hotel opened recently, and the Bettoja hotel chain has several hotels close to the most popular attractions in the city. The Hotel Hassler, the Hotel de Russie and the Hotel Mediterraneo are also excellent choices.

For an uber-romantic way to appreciate the city, there are plenty of great vantage points for looking out over the iconic buildings.

This summer, United will offer extra flights to Rome, and if your clients want to see more Italian cities, the new high-speed train service can get them from place to place easily.

(Of course, other movies set in Rome might also inspire a visit. If your clients prefer a more mystical take on the city, they can check out the sites from last year's Angels and Demons.)
