Mystic Ridge Jamaica Limited has announced plans to open Mystic Ridge Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The property will be a 135-room, mixed-use property of deluxe rooms and apartment rentals, on Dec. 15.
Mystic Ridge Resort will open with 22 new standard and five new deluxe rooms, 10 one-bedroom apartments and 10 two-bedroom apartments.
An additional 57 rooms can be made available through private owners participating in a rental pool. All rooms will feature colorful, locally designed linens and accents, refurbished layouts, balconies and views of Ocho Rios and the Caribbean Sea, and some will have the option to adjoin for large groups. The entire property is encased by a verdant forest with a stream winding along one edge. Construction is expected to end in time for the beginning of the winter tourism season in December.
The newly renovated and refurbished resort, formerly Crane Ridge Comfort Suites, will be located down the road from the famous Rainforest Bobsled attraction at Mystic Mountain, with its sky-explorer chair lift providing impressive views of the coastline as it travels over and through the tropical forest canopy while taking you from sea level up to the top of the park at 700 feet for the Jamaica bobsled ride and zip lining.
