Riu Hotels & Resorts has announced a partnership with Reggae Sunsplash, the four-day festival of reggae music returning to Jamaica after a nine-year hiatus. The event will take place August 3–6 at Richmond Estate, St. Ann in the neighborhood where reggae legend Bob Marley once lived. Featured artists include UB40, Luciano and Morgan Heritage. Riu Ocho Rios, Riu's third property in Jamaica, and its first in Ocho Rios, has 856 guest rooms including 371 superior rooms. Riu will launch a special a web site [www.riu.com/ochorios], where guests can make reservations and learn more about Reggae Sunsplash. Guests who make a reservation through the web site, a travel agency or by calling 888-666-8816 receive a 30 percent discount on admission to the festival.
