Sandals Carlyle Inn in Jamaica to Be Rebranded as Grand Pineapple Montego Bay

Sandals Carlyle Inn to be rebranded as Grand Pineapple Montego Bay on January 15

Sandals Resorts International (SRI), parent company of Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts and Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts, is set to expand its Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts portfolio with the rebrand of Sandals Carlyle Inn to Grand Pineapple Montego Bay on January 15.

The 52-room Sandals Carlyle Inn was one of the company’s first-ever acquisitions in 1981.

“We’ve been planning this rebrand for the better part of a year and we’re all excited about relaunching it as a Grand Pineapple Resort – it’s an absolutely perfect fit," said Sandals Resorts International’s Chairman Gordon “Butch” Stewart in a written release. "We have exciting plans in store for this new resort and we’re looking forward to sharing them in the coming weeks.”

Grand Pineapple Montego Bay will become the second Grand Pineapple Beach Resort in Jamaica, joining its sister property in Negril, and will continue the brand’s tradition of a quality all-inclusive experience.

“This wonderful little resort has been a huge part of the Sandals story since the very beginning and has such a rich history," said Stewart. "Many of our most senior Executives and most successful team members today had their start in this amazing resort and in fact, so many of our loyal customers are with us because it was the start of their deep and lifelong Sandals relationship.”

Clients affected by the rebranding may continue to enjoy their vacation at Grand Pineapple Montego Bay or are given the option of upgrading their existing booking to any other Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts or Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts in Jamaica (excluding Sandals Royal Plantation).
