ANA Doubles Number of Weekend Narita-to-New York Flights

December 20, 2010 By: Staff

Japanese airline ANA on Monday announced plans to increase the frequency of flights on its Tokyo, Japan (Narita)-to-New York (JFK) route by starting a twice-daily service on Saturdays from January 2011 to March 2011. Current service operates once daily on weekends.

“The introduction of a double-daily service at the weekend will provide more options and convenience for weekend travelers and we are confident customers will take advantage of this improved service," the airline said in a release.

The new flights will take place on a Boeing 777-300ER that carries 247 passengers in four classes (First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy). The airline decided to double up its Saturday service because of strong passenger demand.
