Here are the top romance travel packages available:

Ride Off Into the Sunset – A horseback ride at sunset ends with champagne for two with views of Maui, Molokai, Kahoolawe and possibly the Big Island of Hawaii. Offered by Lanai Grand Adventures, this offering accommodates horseback riders of all levels. Guests can also enjoy a drive in a horse-drawn carriage through town, starting from The Lodge at Koele and continuing through Lanai City and the romantic upcountry scenery.

Dinner a Deux - Couples can enjoy a private dining experience in The Lodge at Koele’s Orchid House. The dinner includes a champagne cocktail and a five-course tasting menu. Alternatively, at the new Nobu Lanai, guests can cook for each other using a tableside sizzling lava rock as part of the Nobu Lava Rock experience.

Love-ly Legends – This hike heads up Puu Pehe (Sweetheart Rock) next to Hulopoe Bay at sunrise. Legend has it that Pehe, the wife of a Lanai warrior, died and her heartbroken husband buried her at the top of Puu Pehe then jumped from the 80-foot summit to the surf below, unable to bear his sorrow.

It’s Not Far Down to Paradise – Trilogy Excursion’s 51-foot sailing catamaran will carry couples on a sunset cruise with light appetizers, cocktails and more.

In-Pagoda Dining – The Lodge at Koele offers reordered ‘in-pagoda’ instead of in-room overlooking the reflecting pond and gardens surrounding the resort.

Love Potion Number Lanai – Melanguer Jaana Roth of the Spa at Manele guides couples to design a made-to-measure perfume. The demi-blends are by boutique perfumer Ajne. Through a customized olfactory question and answer session, couples narrow down their aromas of choice from a selection of over 200 scents, bottle size and shape and then the blending begins.

Take a Dole Stroll – A walk around Dole Park, named after the company whose Lanai plantation supplied the world with pineapples, takes in a village square lined with towering Cook pines and plantation buildings housing general stores, restaurants, art galleries, clothing boutiques and more.

Capture the Moment - Guests can commission a sketch or painting by local artist Mike Carroll. Mike moved from Chicago to Lanai to pursue his life-long passion for art and nature and his original oil paintings and prints celebrate Hawaii. Couples can share a favorite romantic spot or send in a photo to commemorate their visit and take home a unique remembrance of a special time together.

Wine & Nine - At Manele Bay, couples can head out to the Manele Golf Course after 3 p.m. for the Ocean back nine, and then make their way to VIEWS, the new clubhouse restaurant, and catch the sunset while enjoying a bottle of wine, light snacks and views of Puu Pehe (Sweetheart Rock) and Hulopoe Bay.

Picnic on a Back Beach – Guests can take a 4x4 to Halepalaoa Beach on the eastern side of the island.  Named for the whales that once washed ashore there, this golden sandy beach is a quiet place to relax, sunbathe and swim. The ruins of the old Maunalei Sugar Plantation wharf are nearby.
