The top of Four Seasons' marketing team is getting a shake up, with the announcement that, effective January 1, 2009, current senior vice president of marketing, Susan Helstab, will replace Barbara Talbott as executive vice president of marketing.
"Susan has worked hand in hand with Barbara for many years to create an exceptional global marketing organization, and she is uniquely qualified to further enhance the company’s leadership position," said Isadore Sharp, chairman and CEO of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Helstab joined Four Seasons in 1987 and became senior vice president of marketing in 1999 with a focus on increasing brand development and global distribution. Prior to joining Four Seasons, she worked as a vice president for advertising agency McCann Erikson.
Talbott joined Four Seasons in 1989 and worked on managing strategy and new hotel introductions. No information was made available on to where Talbott is moving.
