Hotel Cumbres, Patagonicas, Our First Stop in Chile

Travel Agent is on hand for TravelMart Latin America in Chile, where we arrived Sunday at Puerto Varas' best hotel, Hotel Cumbres, Patagonicas. We were told the hotel opened roughly a year ago and is Puerto Varas' only five-star property. And after just a short stay, we see no reason why Puerto Varas would need another.

We are staying in room #307, a standard room. Like all of the rooms in this hotel, our room has front views of the lake. It also comes with a flat-screen TV. The lobby also has a fire place adding to the overall feel the resort gives off as a luxury cabin. In fact, the scent of the entire propety would remind anyone of camping in the woods and relaxing near a camp fire. Travel Agent will be visiting other properties as well as reporting news from the show when it kicks off later this week.
