Marriott International. Inc. has named the Hotel Duval as the eleventh member in its Autograph Collection, a selection of luxury hotels and resorts. Less than 20 minutes from the Tallahassee Regional Airport, the 117-room property will now operate under a franchise agreement with Marriott, whereby Hotel Duval will maintin its name, ownership and management by Duval Partners and stand to benefit from Marriott's sales, marketing and booking network and guest loyalty program, Marriott Rewards.
Located in downtown Tallahassee, Hotel Duval's rooms each feature iPod docking stations, ICE interactive concierge, wireless Internet, 37-inch flat screen TVs, rainmaker showerheads and pebbled shower floors. Take advantage of meeting space in the Horizon Ballroom and eight rooms, conducive for 10 to 250 people. Then, sit down at Shula's 347 Grill, Hotel Duval's signature sport-style steakhouse that features Black Angus beef burgers and Shula Cut steaks, and enjoy the view from the rooftop lounge at Level 8.
Marriott has already added seven hotels from the Kessler Collection to the Autograph Collection, in the most recent addition of El Monte Sagrado in New Mexico.
