Makar Properties, the same luxury hotel developer that created the St. Regis Monarch Beach, is moving forward with construction on its Pacific City project in California. The project is a 31-acre property located surfside on the Pacific Coast Highway and 1st Street in Huntington Beach. Pacific City will feature a boutique hotel, which will be comprised of 196 cabana-style rooms and 16 fractional residences. Other Pacific City features will include retail and office space, upscale residential housing as well as a wide variety of restaurants and bars. The residential village will amount to 17.2 acres and include 424 one-to-three-bedroom luxury condominium units. Ground floor units will have sizeable yards and upper units will be complete with spacious balconies. A two-acre park will be located in the center of the residential village.
