The Peninsula New York Appoints New GM

 

Crook

The Peninsula New York has appointed Jonathan Crook as general manager of the AAA Five-Diamond property, located in the heart of Manhattan. Crook, a UK native with more than 10 years of experience with Peninsula Hotels, has held key executive positions both in North America and Asia. Most recently, he served as the general manager of The Peninsula Manila for more than two years.  Prior to that, he served as the hotel manager of The Peninsula Tokyo and the resident manager of The Peninsula Beijing. Crook began his Peninsula career in North America, where he worked within the food and beverage departments at The Peninsula hotels in New York and Chicago.

The Peninsula New York also recently promoted two key executives as of April 4: Alpan Keskin was promoted from director of food and beverage to executive assistant manager, food and beverage, and Kurt Macher was promoted from director of rooms to executive assistant manager, rooms.
