Melia Hotels International has some big openings scheduled on the horizon. Travel Agent sat down with Director of Leisure Sales for North America Leandro Cruz at this year's Luxury Travel Exchange International who gave us the scoop on what's going down.
First up, the Gran Melia in Cancun is in the process of being converted to a Paradisus property, which will debut officially on December 15, 2012.
ME London will open January 1, 2013 with 157 contemporary guest rooms. The property will be located in Covent Garden.
In 2014, ME Vienna will open as part of the tallest building complex in Austria. The hotel portion will occupy the first to 20th floors of the hotel. In July 2014, Paradisus Costa Rica will open its doors with 218 rooms, and all the Paradisus bells and whistles that loyal guests have come to expect.
