No matter where you are in your career as a professional travel advisor, this year’s Luxury Travel Exchange International (LTX) has something for you. If you’ve read my previous articles, you know we are working hard to provide you with a custom experience—one that is rewarding both personally and professionally. Together with our trusted advisory board of respected industry leaders, the editorial staff of our sister publications, Travel Agent and Luxury Travel Advisor, and of course you—today’s travel advisor—we are developing content based on where you are professionally, where you’d like to be and, most important, how to get to the next level.

Educational Tracks: Through our comprehensive application process, we’ve learned so much about every advisor taking part in LTX. What is truly remarkable is the diversity you all represent. For that reason alone, your educational experience needs to be custom-fit. LTX will feature dedicated tracks geared toward Owners and Managers with Employees, Owners and Managers of Independent Agencies, and Front-Line Travel Advisors. Each track will focus on topics relevant to each audience specific to the luxury market and your day-to-day business.

Product Sessions: Let’s face it, we’re all in this to make money. So it’s important to understand the products, services and destinations you’re selling. We are excited to feature a series of product sessions designed to do just that. You will have the chance to learn from companies such as AMResorts, CIE Tours International, Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts, Fairmont Raffles-Swissotel Hotels & Resorts, Harlequin Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, India Tourism, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. More to be announced. You will of course have the chance to meet these and many others on the LTX Exchange floor as well.

Innovative Formats: We want you to be a product of your environment—and by that, we’ll be offering formats that enhance your ability to better interact and learn. The LTX conference program will be designed for maximum interaction with your presenters and peers. This will prove to be more effective and result in bringing home important tips on building your luxury travel business.

Peer-to-Peer Learning With the Best: No matter what your sales volume, no matter how long you’ve been selling travel, remember, there are others out there with similar goals. The most productive events I’ve ever attended in my career were where I could exchange ideas with my peers. Given the chance to pick their brain, bounce ideas off of one another or simply exchange success stories have proven to be invaluable. You will intermingle throughout the entire program with travel advisors just like yourself and walk away with tried and true tactics.

Innovative Networking: While formal training is high-priority at LTX, so is your ability to network in an informal fashion. Infused into each day will be exciting and fun offerings that allow you to network with your peers and exhibitor partners.

These are just some of the reasons to be at LTX. It’s all happening November 27-29 at the beautiful Palazzo Las Vegas. If you haven’t applied to participate—don’t delay. Our Platinum Pass is overwhelmingly popular, so we welcome you to confirm your position by September 14. To apply or to learn more, visit www.LTXInternational.com.
