Macau to Welcome World's Largest Holiday Inn

With the recent debut of Galaxy Macau, one of the world's largest integrated resorts, Macau is hooked on 'bigger is better.' InterContinental Hotels Group has signed a 1,224-room Holiday Inn franchise contract with Sands China.

The Holiday Inn Macau Cotai Strip, scheduled to debut in 2012, will be the world's largest Holiday Inn. The resort will be part of Sands Cotai Central, an integrated resort in Macau. The resort will offer 6,000 additional hotel rooms to the area, along with a wide variety of gaming, dining, retail, entertainment and meeting facilities.
