InterContinental Hotels Group is making its first InterContinental brand foray into Malaysia. As of February 2011, the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur will raise its flag in what is now the Nikko Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
The 473-room hotel is centrally located at Jalan Ampang, among business, shopping and entertainment. The property will offer five food and beverage outlets and a host of recreational facilities.
The refurbishments are scheduled to take place in three phases.
