Regent Hotels & Resorts Announce Kuala Lumpur Hotel

Regent Hotels & Resorts will develop The Regent Kuala Lumpur, a 250-room hotel with 102 luxury apartments in Kuala Lumpur’s city center. The new Regent property in Malaysia, scheduled for a fall 2011 opening, will offer city views and easy access to cultural sites and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.

Regent Hotels & Resorts will increase its presence in Asia-Pacific in the coming months, with four additional openings planned through 2009. Upcoming developments in the region include The Regent Maldives (December 2008); The Regent Phuket, Thailand (March 2009); The Regent Bangkok, Thailand (2009); and The Regent Manila Bay, the Philippines (winter 2009).
