ATME Offers 2009 Marketing Forecast

The Association of Travel Marketing Executives (ATME) will present its 2009 Travel Industry Forecast Marketing Issues Forum, January 26 at the Yale Club in New York from noon to 2 p.m. Speakers at the ATME lunch include several of travel marketers in the industry who will offer their perspective on what 2009 will bring to their industry segments, as well as offer insight into marketing duriung a recession.

There will also be handouts on how to market effectively during this time of economic uncertainty. Panelists include: Joanne D. Smith, senior vice president of in-flight services and global product development, Delta Air Lines; Vicki Freed, senior vice president, Royal Caribbean International; Gary Sain, president and CEO, Orlando/Orange County CVB; Frank Camacho, staff vice president of marketing, The Hertz Corporation; and Bob Whitley, president, USTOA. Joel Chusid, ATME chairman and general manager, North America, of Hainan Airlines, will moderate the panel.
