Blount Small Ship Adventures, which offers small ship river cruising, reports it is extending Travel Agent Appreciation Month through the end of November. Agents who book select Caribbean 2014 itineraries to Belize and the Bahamas will receive an additional 10 percent commission on top of their regular commission. These itineraries include:
· 2014 Belize, The Barrier Reef, Guatemala and Honduran Bay Islands
· 2014 Best of Belize: The Barrier Reef and Guatemala
Travel Agent Appreciation Month is one of several incentives Blount offers travel agents, the company says. The STARS certification program gives agents the opportunity to attend a webinar and take a short quiz about Blount’s offerings. Once they pass, agents will receive an extra 1 percent commission on new bookings, plus an additional 1 percent if they travel on a Blount cruise at the travel agent reduced rate of 40 percent off the cruise fare.
Blount also reports it offers an extra 10 percent commission on the Travel Protection Plan and 5 percent on early arrival packages.
