Martinique Brings a Taste of Caribbean to New York

The Martinique Promotion Bureau brought a little bit of the sights, sounds and flavors of the island to Nikki Beach Midtown in New York this week.  On hand to welcome over 100 travel agents were the Tourism Commissioner Karine Roy-Camille and General Director Ivan Sobesky of the Martinique Tourism Authority.

Muriel Wiltord, director Americas for the Martinique Promotion Bureau, was also on hand along with representatives of several of the island's finest resorts. Wilford encouraged travel agents to explore the offering available to their clients on Martinique and in particular the variety of beach, cultural and gastronomic opportunities.  “Martinique’s unique natural beauty and rich cultural heritage make this Caribbean destination ideal for some very exceptional experiences.  From rum tasting on a distilleries tour or award winning cuisine or exploring the birthplace of Empress Josephine Bonaparte, all of these activities can be found on magnifique Martinique.”
