Hawaiian Airlines recently announced plans to begin nonstop flights between Maui and San Francisco on November 20. The new service will begin as a four-times-weekly offering and increase to daily on December 17. Hawaiian will operate the Maui-SFO nonstop service onboard its 294-passenger Airbus 330-200 aircraft, adding more than 210,000 seats to both the San Francisco and Maui markets annually, according to the airline.
Intersland carrier Mokulele Airlines recently added a third daily flight from Kahului Airport (OGG) to Hana Airport (HNM). Offering a bird's eye view of the Hana coastline, the new morning flight departs Kahului at 6:15 a.m. and arrives in Hana at 6:36 a.m. The return flight departs Hana at 6:51 a.m. and arrives in Kahului at 7:12 am. Delta is adding new service from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Maui's Kahului Airport (OGG) beginning December. The new service, which will include a daily flight to Kahului via Boeing 757-200 aircraft, will give Seattle-area clients more choices as the airline continues to grow its domestic and international network.
