Aeromexico Assists Japan with Free Transportation of Supplies

Aeromexico and the Aeromexico Foundation will provide free transportation for supplies on flights to Narita, Japan.

The airline expressed its solidarity with victims of the earthquake and calls on the general public to join the cause by contributing to global companies and institutions gathered to support Japan.

Aeromexico will transfer non-perishable food and medicines donated by governmental institutions, private organizations and the public. Currently, Aeromexico has three weekly flights between Mexico and Narita, departing on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The delivery of aid will arrive on scheduled flights to Japan operated by the airline.

On March 14, Aeromexico flight number AM058, which operates between Mexico-Tijuana-Narita, flew 17 rescue troops to support efforts in Japan.
