Aeromexico to Offer Flights Between Washington, D.C. and Mexico City

Aeromexico announced Tuesday the inauguration of new service, connecting the capital of Washington, D.C. and Mexico City.

This new route, beginning on May 21, has been the result of collaboration between Aeromexico and representatives from Dulles International Airport to meet the growing demand between the two capital cities of neighboring countries as well as efforts from the Mexican Embassy, based in Washington D.C.

Flights from Washington, D.C. depart at 7 a.m. daily and arrive in Mexico City at 10:45 a.m. Departing flights leave Mexico City at 8:35 p.m. daily and arrive in Washington, D.C. at 1:55 a.m.

”Mexico City will serve as the gateway to the extensive network of Mexican airports served by Aeromexico,” said John E. Potter, president and CEO of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, in a written release. “We welcome Aeromexico to our Nation's Capital, and we thank them for recognizing Dulles as an integral part of the global aviation system.”
