As the warm weather finally makes its arrival, travelers are becoming anxious to venture outdoors and enjoy some springtime sun. In Mexico, a number of resort properties have a range of outdoor activities and open air venues, including some unique pool offerings. Here are four hot spots to check out the next time your clients want to cool down.

Two Cool Pools in Puerto Vallarta

Travel Agent’s Joe Pike recently wrote about the Infinity Pool at CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, ideal for Millennials who are heading to Mexico this spring, and beyond.

The pool has a spacious swim-up bar affording views of both the Sierra Madre Mountains and Banderas Bay. There is also an outdoor event space surrounding the pool that can be booked for evening functions.

Travelers interested in checking out the Infinity Pool at CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa this spring can also take advantage of a special price package available to those who travel through October 31. Clients who book by April 27 will recieve of the resort's new "Hola Spring" offer, which includes 30 percent off of room rates and a spa credit.

Also in Puerto Vallarta is Grand Miramar All Luxury Suites & Residences, which recently received updates to its pool areas.

As reported by Joe Pike, the property now has three separate swimming areas, including a pool with three Jacuzzis and a swim-up bar, as well as a newly remodeled pool. The updates allow for plenty of space to accommodate more guests.

In addition, Grand Miramar All Luxury Suites & Residences in Puerto Vallarta also refreshed its luxury services and amenities inside the suites and public spaces, with particular focus on the pools.

The 80 Suites and 20 Villas are distributed between two towers, and offer accommodations including kitchenettes and private balconies, and ocean views. Higher category rooms have private outdoor Jacuzzis.

Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta's Pool Paradise

Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta is a vacation destination situated between the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra Madre Mountains. It comprises five resort hotels, a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, spas, salons, and several restaurants, among other attractions. However, Joe Pike writes that the main hook for visiting the destination is the extensive pool area at the resort complex’s Grand Mayan property.

The water attraction includes a lazy river for relaxing, several smaller connected pools for privacy, water sculptures, foundations, swim-up bars and wave pools. There is also a Mayan Temple water slide located just across from the main pool. Guests can even rent the area out for private parties and functions.

There is also the Zen Pool, one of three main pools at the resort, comprising 5,300 square feet and surrounded by the trees, plants and flowers of the Yucatan Peninsula’s jungle. Pool concierges deliver food and drinks to guests, and there is also a swim-up bar.
