Funjet Vacations reports that travel agents can now offer their customers a per vehicle rate for private transfers in Cancun and Riviera Maya, Mexico. This product enhancement makes private transfers more affordable and also offers an economical way to satisfy private transfer requests for group sales starting at just $100 per group, Funjet said. Per vehicle pricing will be available for Jamaica and Cozumel beginning in February.
Transfer option vehicles accommodate one to 13 passengers and start at a basic EuroVan vehicle price of $100 per vehicle (formerly $59 per passenger). Transfer bookings, made directly online during the agent booking process, include simple upgrade options such as the Lincoln Navigator SUV, Lincoln Navigator Deluxe, Lincoln Navigator Limo or a Sprinter.
Transfers are automatically added to agent shopping cart after pricing the air and hotel, allowing the agent complete flexibility in building a customer quote. Most online vacation companies do not include transfers in their pricing and breaking out this component allows for more competitive pricing against online sellers, Funjet notes.

Transfers are a critical element of the vacation experience and it is our goal to be sure that travel agents have control and a price advantage at every step,” said Mike Going, president of Funjet Vacations.
Funjet also reminded agents of its 2012 Funjet Vacations’ Year to Funjet program. Every Funjet booking between now and March 31 for open travel will qualify as an entry into the ongoing sweepstakes. One travel agent will end the first quarter of 2012 as the winner of a 3-year lease on a new BMW328i convertible – an over $25,000 value.
More than 100 agents will be winners with additional prizes including a dozen luxury trips for two, and 100 cash prizes.
