Mexico City Runs Web Series With Celebrity Designer

Travelers headed to Mexico City will want to check out the city’s new video web series with celebrity designer Genevieve Gorder. The six-part web series follows the HGTV star, as she shares her favorite places to shop, stay, source authentic design pieces and more in Mexico City.

The series is hosted on hosted on MXCity.mx/en, the official Tourism Promotion Partner website, as well as the @MexicoCityLive YouTube and social media channels.

In her videos, Gorder visits La Ciudadela, an open-air market; Onora Casa, known for high-end home design, La Metropolitana, a furniture design firm; Blend Concept Store, which is filled with the latest designs; and Claudia Fernández Vintage Furniture a vintage furniture dealer. The videos also include on-camera interviews in each stop.

Mexico City welcomes more than 12.5 million visitors a year and has more than 150 museums, 100 contemporary local art galleries and 30 distinct architectural and historic sites.
