Rosewood Hotels & Resorts recently announced the appointment of Graeme Davis to the position of managing director of Rosewood Mayakobá in the Riviera Maya, Mexico.
As managing director, Davis will oversee all operations of the resort including the 128 luxurious suites, three restaurants, Sense, A Rosewood Spa, a high-tech executive conference center and more.
“After years of managing operations at the corporate level, I am thrilled to reconnect directly with guests and employees at the property level,” said Davis in a written release. “This is a great honor which presents a whole new range of creativity, development and responsibility. A veteran of the hospitality industry for nearly 30 years, Davis is joining Rosewood Hotels & Resorts following an 11-year career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, during which time he managed operations at the corporate level across multiple locations.
Prior to his tenure at Starwood, Davis held previous positions at Posadas Mexico, Tishman Hotel Company, Williams Hospitality and Stouffer Hotels. Davis, who has relocated to Riviera Maya with his wife and three children for this exciting opportunity, is thrilled to share the region’s rich culture and natural beauty with them.
