Hyatt Herald Square to Open This October

Hyatt Herald SqaureHyatt Hotels & Resorts and Chesapeake Lodging today announced the October 2014 opening of the new Hyatt Herald Square New York. The 122-room property will be located on West 31st Street between 5th avenue and Broadway right in the center of Midtown.

Guests can expected to be greeted by hotel ambassadors on arrival who will welcome them to the grand living room style lobby. Rooms are decorated with pops of hot pink and the inclusion of an in-room letterpress block feature, which will include a quote from fashion designer, Coco Chanel. The hotel will have one grand suite located on the 18th floor.

Guests will have three options when it comes to dining: The hotel’s coffee bar, Espresso which will feature Stone Street Coffee Company beans and a range of specialty drinks and pastries. The hotel’s lobby bar, The Den, which will feature a casual bistro menu offering seasonal dishes in three sizes – large bites, light bites, and even lighter bites. The bar will also feature a dedicated cocktail menu with seasonally inspired drinks and creatively infused spirits, some of which will be made in-house. The hotel’s rooftop will house the property’s lounge, Up on 20, offering cocktails with skyline views.
