Vail Resorts to Modernize Mt. Brighton, Michigan

ski resortVail Resorts, the leading mountain resort operator in the U.S., recently acquired the popular Michigan ski destination Mt. Brighton, pledging nearly $10 million to bringing the property up to snuff with today’s lofty winter resort expectations.  Next year, Mt. Brighton will be included in the line-up of the company’s famed Epic Pass.

A multitude of upgrades will shortly descend upon Mt. Brighton, including dramatic improvements to the resort’s snow making technology that will make for an earlier opening, later closing, and general improvement to snow surface quality throughout the season.  A new, state-of-the-art terrain park is in the works, as well as the implementation of Vail Resorts' signature EpicMix technology, a vertical feet tracking system designed to personalize skier experience.

The Epic Pass is available in a variety of packages granting access to nine mountains; Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood in Lake Tahoe, and Mt. Brighton.

The most inclusive Epic Pass is $680 for adults and $359 for kids, granting skiers unlimited and unrestricted access to any Vail Resort all season long.  The Epic Local Pass is $529 for adults, $269 for kids, and $479 for college students with proof of full time enrollment, and includes ten days at Vail and Beaver Creek, some restricted access to the Lake Tahoe resorts, and unlimited access to the remaining resorts.

For single-time vacationers, a Seven-Day Epic Pass with restricted access to all Vail Resorts is available for $529, or $349 for a Four-Day Epic Pass.  These low spring prices are subject to change after April 14th.  A local pass for Mt. Brighton only is also available.
