The Rezidor Hotel Group announced Thursday the opening of the second Radisson Blu Resort in Tunisia, the Radisson Blu Resort Thalasso, Monastir.
The 280-room resort consists of 264 guestrooms, 14 junior suites and 2 senior suites. All rooms have a private balcony or terrace overlooking the pool or Mediterranean Sea.
Amenities at the resort include a 150,000-square-foot spa, the Royal Elyssa Spa Cinq Mondes Thalasso. These facilities will open in early 2010 and will include a fitness club and salon. The Spa offers saunas, hammams, treatment rooms as well as 20 spa suites. There will also be three restaurants, six bars and lounges, several indoor and outdoor swimming pools and an athletic facility.
